Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach students from ages 3 to 5 In a self-contained preschool setting, where children have diverse needs and abilities, sensory items play a pivotal role in fostering inclusive and enriching learning environments. The alphabet blocks, toy planes and trains, counting cones, sensory toys, pillows, and other materials serve as essential tools for addressing various developmental goals and supporting the unique needs of each child. Sensory experiences offer a means for children to engage with their surroundings in ways that are accessible and meaningful, regardless of their challenges or strengths. For children with sensory processing difficulties, sensory items provide valuable opportunities to help our students succeed in every aspect of their educational day. These weighted blankets, sensory toys, and sound-canceling headphones help our students with emotional regulation, which improves focus and increases participation!

Every student deserves the resources to help them be as successful as possible, and your donation will go a very long way in helping my students be as successful as they can be!
