What is better than smiling faces ready to learn? No matter what the situation is, my students come into the classroom ready to learn and have fun! My class is made up of TWO classes of 22 students each. It is made up of a variety of different economical backgrounds. Some students come to school well fed and prepared and some do not. Whatever their obstacles, they always find a way to overcome.
My students walk into my classroom to learn about everything ELA!
I see the potential in each student and want the best for them. They take the rigorous curriculum and never let it phase them. My classroom isn't filled with a room full of children it's filled with our future.
An inviting classroom is extremely important for all types of learners. My classroom is filled with exciting children who love to learn. Providing them with areas where they can sit, learn, and feel at home is vital.
Our students learn throughout the day in many different locations.
We use the rug area for every subject taught in ELA. The rug area is used throughout the week for many different lessons. This gives my students another area to share ideas and question each other.
I also try to incorporate other flexible seating areas in the classroom. Having more cushions and chairs would allow even more students to experience a learning environment that will benefit their learning style.
