This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love when my students are excited and engaged. In my classroom, small group instruction happens daily and at the table is where I see the most excitement and engagement. I want to be able to offer more seats that are welcoming, comfortable and meet sensory needs.

Every student deserves a seat at a table that welcomes differences, embraces curiosity, and fuels student's minds with the tools they need to independently achieve.

The seating should be easy to access and move to and from. The back table groups are flexible so that whomever needs a little more one-on-one time gets it and can move on with their learning.
