My Project
Staff members give out live school points to students to recognize them for doing their best work and being their best selves. Every student throughout the school works hard to earn live school points during the day for a trip to the school store at lunch time. Each child can spend their points at the school store or save them to buy a bigger prize the next time they visit the store. My school has adopted school wide Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS). PBIS emphasizes the establishment of organizational supports and systems that give our staff the capacity to use effective interventions accurately and successfully. It is a prevention-oriented way for all school staff to maximize academic and social behavior outcomes for students. PBIS supports the success of all students. My school has adopted school wide expectations that require our students to do their best work and be their best self. The scooters that I am requesting will be used as incentives to show our students that we appreciate their efforts. These scooters can and will brighten the day of many children.
