This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a first-year school psychologist, and an 8th year educator, I am passionate about helping students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. My role allows me to work with students, teachers, and families to improve mental health, promote inclusive practices, and build a strong, positive school culture.

This project will provide essential tools to support students’ emotional regulation, social-emotional learning (SEL), and classroom engagement.

These may include calming tools, SEL materials, books, visual supports, and resources for staff to use in daily instruction and behavior support.

Whether it’s helping a student manage anxiety, teaching coping strategies, or supporting a classroom in building a culture of respect and inclusion, the materials from this project will make a daily difference.

By investing in this project, you’re helping create a school environment where every child feels seen, heard, and empowered—and where school psychology is used not just for testing, but for transformation.
