This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are amazing 4 and 5 years old students who are full of questions. They come to school wanting to know more about everything. For most students this is the first year they are coming to school, so they have so many more questions. School is place where students should feel safe and secure, yet we do not have a place for their items.
Help me give my students a place where they can put their items.
Unfortunately, as of today students come to class and hang up their jackets on a rack that has no coverage when it rains or when there are high winds, blowing dirt. Often the table where we place their lunch gets bumped and they fall all over the place. Students cannot learn if they are constantly worried about their belongings. This cart will give my students peace of mind, allowing they to focus on the important stuff, their social skill and academics.
