A Safe Space for Students

Help me give my students an elevated safe space which will include sensory floor tiles and a soft, absorbent crash pad.

My Project

The students I serve all have very unique and special needs. Many of them struggle with their self regulation skills. They often use aggressive and challenging behaviors to communicate their wants and needs. The folding gym mat and crash pad will allow my students to practice regulating their emotions without getting hurt.

The peanut exercise ball, Balta brushes, and the roller ball glove will allow my students the opportunity to receive the sensory input they need to regulate their emotions.

The noise canceling headphones will help my students to function appropriately throughout the day by giving them a sense of calm they so often desire.
