A Safe Space for Students: Part 2

My Project

I am a Behavior Interventionist teacher, and I work with kids ages 5-12. Many students come to me when they are overwhelmed with emotions. They are seeking a safe space to regulate their mind and body.

The weighted lap blanket will be the perfect addition to the Calm Corner.

It will help students who are seeking sensory input or students who just need extra support to calm their body. The Little Spot of Emotional Regulation book set will be used to guide student conversations and teach skills to students who need help to support regulating their emotions at school. The binder clips and tabs will help me keep my paperwork organized, which will help me better serve my students.
