The titles vary in genre, ability levels, and topics. The books that the students receive at Harvey are sometimes the only new ones that they receive. I ended up printing out cards to hand to students when I could tell they needed a moment in the calming corner and that has been very successful. That way, I don't need to interrupt my teaching and don't put a spotlight on students who are needing to regulate their emotions.\r\n\r\nMy students and I thank you so much for providing us with the opportunity to be able to express their emotions in a safe way.
