Help me give my students a safe, comfortable place to relax and read with these bean bags, an area carpet, and a storage shelf.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students are the sweetest, most wonderful children you will ever meet. For most of my students, this is the first time in a classroom setting and they work hard every day to learn to be great students. They love learning and are so eager to learn as much as they can.
Our school has a hugely diverse population.
We are a charter school in a large city. We are 100% free or reduced-price lunch. About half of our students are Hispanic. We also have a large population of refugees. We have over 20 different languages spoken at our school. We love the diversity of our population and work to make sure all cultures are honored and respected.
My students are in need of a materials to help make our classroom library a safe and relaxing place. We need a new carpet and bean bags for them to sit on. We also need a book case to display books that we are currently reading.
Our classroom library is not only a place to read but a safe place to be if students are overwhelmed or upset.
When ever a student is upset, mad, overwhelmed, not feeling well or just needing some time alone, they will go and sit in the classroom library until they are ready to join the class. This greatly helps with them regulate their emotions and feel safer in the classroom.
By giving my students a safe, comfortable, relaxing classroom library, you are not only helping them increase their reading success but also helping them become stronger, more emotionally secure adults.
