This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 23 scholars come to school ready to learn. I am proud of their positive attitude at school. They do not only exert effort to learn in our Kindergarten class, they also demonstrate good behavior. Most of my students have limited English proficiency but they attend class eager to participate in our daily work.
The requested paper towels are a must for the unavoidable messes in a Kindergarten classroom.
Face masks will help protect our children against germs and viruses.
Aside from a safe and clean classroom, students need to learn in a developmentally-appropriate classroom. A child-sized chart stand & storage center in one was also requested. It has a magnetic dry erase board which will be used to model daily activities, rings to hang pocket charts, and a bottom shelf to store supplies and manipulatives. This will help our class run more efficiently, meaning more learning time for the students. Another bonus is that this center is on wheels! It can be easily moved from the carpet area to the small group table.
