My Students

I have amazing students. They are kind, generous, and incredibly hard working. I love seeing their smiles each day and watching them grow in character and academics. My class looks forward to coming to school.

My students are always excited.

They look forward to every special moment. They are risk takers, explorers, and creators. My students are adventurous, curious, and driven. I may be the one that's supposed to be inspiring them, but a lot of days they are the ones inspiring me!

My Project

My classroom is flexible. Our tables are rectangles and circles. We have carpet and bean bags. The student love to be able to work in a variety of areas and use a variety of the furniture.

Our classroom doesn't have much for storage.

The storage we do have I use to store instructional materials. The students have a cubicle to keep their crayons and headphones in, but there really isn't much room beyond that for their things. I want them to be able to store things in their chairs using the chair sacks requested. This way they can move the chairs anywhere they like to move and still have the things they need right with them like their white boards, hundreds charts, and personal dictionaries. This will allow for less transition time and better organization.
