My Project

The students in my class are inquisitive and eager learners who are ready to take on the world. They are excited to come to school each day to see their classmates and teachers, and to learn something new. Reading is just one of the ways my students engage in their learning. I'd love to give them a special place in the room to get comfortable and read. An area rug will help provide a cozy reading corner in the classroom.

As adults, we all like to be comfortable when we sit down to read.

I want my students to develop this feeling early, so it will stay with them as they grow. I want them to experience getting lost in a text. The best way for this to happen is by having a snuggly and relaxing place to enjoy their books.
