My Project

The items requested from this selection were specifically chosen to help my students learn and practice valuable social emotional skills. Many of the selections will help students to recognize their emotions, and to learn what healthy ways they can use to express those emotions. Other selections will help them discuss and think of solutions to common situations or challenges they face in their lives. The toys selected will help with small group play, where students can practice getting along with others and can build solid relationships with each other.

All students are special and I believe my role as a school counselor is to help everyone to be the best versions of themselves, to provide a safe space, and to help everyone to fix what troubles them when possible, and to be at peace with their situations or decisions.
