My Project

Hi! I am a special education teacher mostly for third grade students. This will be my third year teaching special education. I have the pleasure to work with students with many different labels from Autism to Intellectual disabilities. Each one different in their own way! I learn a lot from my students just as I hope they do from me. Next year, I am expecting about 14 students coming into third grade to at a starting new school. The school is a public school with low income families. The students sometimes treasure being at school. For the first time, I may have my own room and would love to provide the best to the students. I would love to provide a welcoming environment with furniture that would provide break time, comfortability and a place to get their wiggles out before heading back to class. I want to create a positive welcoming environment. I would love and appreciate any support for the students. Thank you!
