This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are reaching out to you with hearts full of hope and gratitude, seeking your valuable help for a project that we are convinced will make a significant difference in the lives of our students.
In our public school, we have a group of children aged 9 to 10 who, despite facing significant challenges due to their economic situation, show great determination to learn and overcome obstacles.
These children are in a crucial phase of learning a new language, and we know that an appropriate environment is essential for their success.
For this reason, we have decided to acquire a large carpet to serve as the gathering point in the classroom. This space will provide an inclusive, safe, and comfortable environment where the children can come together, share ideas, and connect more effectively with their learning. The carpet will not only facilitate the learning of the new language but will also encourage collaboration and a sense of belonging among the students.
We turn to the generosity of people like you, who are willing to support the most vulnerable. Any contribution, whether financial or in the form of a large carpet, will be greatly appreciated and will have a direct impact on the well-being and learning of these children. We know that, with your support, we will be able to transform the classroom into an even more stimulating and nurturing space for the development of our students.
