My Project
One thing as a math and science teacher that is much needed is a very inviting space that will inspire me, my students, and teachers on my team to learn. Math and science are two subjects that are already by nature daunting for students. I want to create an environment rich with learning opportunities and appealing to their eyes.
Can you imagine coming into a workspace full of comfort, accessibility, and resources to learn for students and engage in math and science coaching for teachers?
This project is full of materials to help create a reimagined workspace for teachers and students to help motivate learning. Bright rugs, comfy seating, charging stations for devices during classes and meetings and to produce virtual assignments on Google Classroom, a math and science coaching book, ergonomic mouse pads for use by students and staff, all to name a few of the amazing materials this project includes to benefit the staff and students.
After the pandemic years of late, it is essential to do all possible to motivate staff and students to continue or create a fondness for learning and teaching again. I hope with this project to create a space that will inspire and motivate learning as we return to a more normal learning year.
