My Project
My classroom would greatly benefit from having a refrigerator for many reasons.
Being able to provide a healthy snack to my students would meet an important need.
I am a Special Education teacher and I teach at a Title I school where many children come to school without a snack.
Hungry children cannot learn. For some children, the only food they eat all day will be a meal at school and snacks in the classroom.
My passion and dedication are pointing me to ask for your help in providing a place in my classroom to store healthy snacks such as low-fat yogurts, fruit, low-fat cheese, and healthy juice. A refrigerator would make a huge difference in the lives of my children.
