This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach fifth graders that belong to different backgrounds and ethnicities. My students are enthusiastic, inquisitive, and inquiring learners who love to learn each day.
They are remarkably inspired to learn and do their best in school.
I teach at an exceptional, diverse, and distinctive school in California where most of our students receive free lunch.
My students speak many different languages like Spanish in different versions at home. We always celebrate the things that make us different, and the things that make us the same. This wonderful class is a family at school.
Each of my students comes with glee to learn and become inventive in class. One great evidence is that my attendance is always perfect. My main goal for this project is to ask for refills for our erasable pens. This is a resource we always use in our classroom and the great thing that is happening is that they are becoming writers, and the penmanship is so neat. The downside of these pens is that they don’t last, so I need to have refills in class to make these pens reusable again and again.
