This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school’s art studio has been a joy for the children to learn and create in . The kids come from a diverse low-income high poverty community. Staff at our school work hard to provide them with a variety of positive worldly experience, the arts being some of them. They have the opportunity to use and explore different materials that they may not have access to outside of school. So many of them respond to the arts in such positive ways, and we want to keep this momentum going!
My Project
An art studio should be a bright and colorful place where children will be happy to learn, grow and create! These items will help my students color coordinate our art studio and add a new unit to our curriculum architecture. Children love to build and create in the studio. We will learn about famous architects and buildings. The studio storage will help with a smooth flow within our classroom. Children will be able to easily identify what materials will go to each table. This will help keep our art studio well organized and appealing to the eyes. Won’t you please help our little artists out?
