My students need a rainbow of color, pencils, watercolor crayons, and construction paper, to create art in the classroom. We will explore many famous artists as part of our unit.

My Students
My students need to be exposed to art in the classroom, so that they can enrich their environment. As culturally diverse students, we need to enrich their lives through art.
Many of our students do not have the ability to visit the museum to see art work.
It is my hope that by getting these materials I can bring some of the famous artist to them. In order to create art we need the materials to do so. I have posters of work done by famous artist, the students just need the materials to create.
My Project
Art supplies may seem like a small request, but it's large when you don't have the quality supplies you need to really emulate the artists to be studied. Our students are very talented and it would be fabulous to teach them to use color in various strengths, and various degrees. Please help fund our art project, I would love to have an art show to display their work. I am requesting these colored pencils, watercolor crayons, and construction paper, to teach the students some skills in art, including shading and color. I will be using these materials with students in grades kindergarten through 5.
These art supplies are just a resource for the children to use, many of these children would not be given the opportunity to create art without them.
We must hold on to the very things that show the beauty of life and art is essential to convey that to students.
