Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help to give my students decorations to make the classroom feel like their own. They gave me the idea to change our classroom into a colorful rainbow. My students spend a large part of their day in the classroom and it is important for them to feel like it is their home away from home.
They would like to cover our boring windows with bright rainbow curtains.
Display colorful rainbow decor on the walls. We also do a author spotlight and have a standard chair. They chose and adult size chair to sit and tell their stories from. They were excited to think of the possibility that their classroom can be a colorful learning environment. I would like some plastic bins to put the decor in and keep safe, when we go on summer break.
