This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As classroom sizes continue to increase, finding a serene and orderly space within the classroom is becoming increasingly challenging. As our available space diminishes, it's essential for us to tap into our creativity. Hence, I am proposing the acquisition of the following items for our classroom.

The inclusion of privacy walls and headphones will enable students to block out distractions, fostering a conducive environment for focused work.

This will prove invaluable during critical tasks such as testing, reading, and writing, where a quiet setting is essential for optimal learning. Whether it's utilizing the headphones for quiet computer sessions or using them to drown out ambient classroom noise, they will significantly enhance the learning experience. This proactive approach will not only promote student engagement but also minimize disruptions within the classroom, fostering a more harmonious learning environment overall.

Additionally, the introduction of baskets will serve to streamline organization and cleanliness within students' desks. In my classroom, students are tasked with managing three journals, four workbooks, three folders, as well as their pencils and pencil boxes. These baskets will function as designated compartments, providing a tidy storage solution for their workbooks while keeping them separate from the everyday supplies they regularly utilize.

Furthermore, I've added a classroom set of Scholastic News Magazines due to their captivating content, which is designed to hold students' interest and make lessons enjoyable and entertaining.
