My Students

I believe in a noisy, active classroom and it shows! There is always activity, inquiry and collaboration. Activity and noise are necessary for dynamic learning but reaching each child also requires the ability to focus on the material presented.

We work hard every day to become better citizens and scholars.

Some of us come from other cultures. Egypt, Mexico and the Philippines are represented. We celebrate diversity and appreciate our community as we grow together. My students love technology, no matter who they are and I would like to use this to enhance their learning experience.

My Project

We are fortunate to have individual devices for my students and plenty of digital learning is happening, but we are utilizing these tools without the advantage of headphones! A set of headphones for each child will mean uninterrupted learning time and less frustration as they are able to focus on the instruction provided.

Students deserve the opportunity to focus on lessons that enrich and supplement the curriculum provided by class instruction.

My children come to school with individual needs that include English language acquisition, vocabulary deficits, focusing issues and academic challenges. With digital learning, I can design programs that meet these children. With headphones, that instruction becomes truly beneficial.
