A Quality Projector Our Students Deserve

Help me give my students a bright and high quality projector that produces a sufficiently bright image for students to see in science class and advisory.

My Students

Our students reflect the vast diversity that is San Francisco. We have many neurodiverse students who require a variety of supports and accommodations. They are each unique, challenging, and wonderful in their own way. They work hard and they love to learn.

Our students are truly the pioneers of our school as we expand from elementary into middle school with our founding class.

Our community continues to grow into seventh grade and eighth next year. With this expansion and uncharted territory for our community comes many challenges. Budgetary constraints, space constraints, and programming constraints are just a few of the major challenges we continue to manage.

Please consider helping these pioneering students not only succeed, but flourish as they progress through the crucial pivotal time of middle school so they may continue into a successful high school experience.

My Project

In science and advisory, we have all been straining to look at a screen that is barely visible with a projector that is barely usable. With a quality projector, students will be able to read text on the screen or watch science demonstration videos because the image produced by our current projector is too dim and the image too blurry.

It feels disheartening that we need to fundraise for a projector, but is is a necessity that has a substantial impact on the education of these wonderful students.

We are stretched thin as a staff in a time when closures, absences, inconsistencies with attendance, and other unique challenges those in education have never faced before. Having the basics right now feels essential. Students need a projector that will allow them to fully engaged with the work that will allow them to develop the skills and knowledge to be successful as they progress into high school.

We humbly ask for your support to have a simple basic of any classroom -- a functional projector. Thank you!
