My Project

The students at Lake Hood Elementary are totally CAT CRAZY! While we have ample books about dogs, our cat section is quite sparse. Some kids have several cats, some have one, and some have none but have big plans to acquire several. Regardless of their current cat count, I want to support their love of all things feline by offering them amazing titles about their favorite mini-tigers.

Giving kids books that they want to read is one of the best ways to encourage reluctant readers!

Many of our students are not interested in reading novels or graphic novels - instead they want non-fiction books about their desired topics. Books about animals are always in high demand and the title I chose for this project are sure to fly off the shelves!
