My Project
I am requesting a weighted puppy, scented pencils, rainbow colored pencils, and fidget toys to help students with sensory needs. In our class, we have a few students that have difficultly sitting on the carpet with the class.
With a cute lavender scented weighted puppy in their lap, a student with sensory needs will hopefully have a better chance of sitting calmly on the carpet.
The puppy also offers a fidget tail filled with sensory beads and tactile velcro patch under his ear to help students stay calm and collected.
We are also requesting other fidget toys to help support students sensory needs. As well as smencils, scented pencils, and colored rainbow pencils to encourage students to write!
