My students come from a variety of socioeconomic, racial, social, and cultural backgrounds. My students are young and bright. My students deserve a proper education and the finest resources available.
My students are inquirers, knowledgeable, thinkers, communicators, principled, open-minded, caring, risk-takers, balanced, and reflective; hence why they deserve the best in the world and I would like to give that to them, and show them how to attain it.
My students are public school students. As they are our future, it is their right to have access to all of the best of resources in education possible.

I have done ALL of this - completely out of pocket - for my students, because I firmly believe that I must become the best teacher I can possibly be, in order to provide excellent service to my community.
This summer I would like to continue in these footsteps, however, last summer put a heavy financial strain on me. I believe in people and their collective goodness, hence why I am asking YOU to support me during these not-so-good times for public school teachers.
I LOVE my career, I love my public school students and want to truly give them the best. I believe that they deserve everything we - responsible adults - can give to them. They deserve everything a prestigious private school offers to their students. I believe in equality AND equity, hence why I refuse to feel stopped from doing my utmost to provide the absolute best to my wonderful public school students.
