Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a teacher in a low income/high poverty school. Many of my students have difficult home environments. Many of their parents do not have the means to offer them a comfortable learning environment at home. I want to be able to offer them a fun, safe, and comfortable learning environment in school.
My students are great and very enthusiastic learners.
I want to keep the fire burning by giving them the best opportunities to learn. With your support, this will be possible. Thank you!
My Project
Being able to display something clearly in the classroom is important. Using my whiteboard can be an effective tool, but when I need to show educational videos, power points, and educational games, a projector is necessary.
My students will be able to see projected material a lot clearer and brighter with this projector.
My old projector is outdated and is not sharp and bright enough to see with classroom lights on. Furthermore, a lot of my students wear prescription glasses or are in the process of getting them.
Presenting content to students in todays classrooms requires technology that will make educational content accessible to all students. This projector will benefit all of my students.
