This year, my students are back and forth between virtual and in person learning, which is very challenging for young children. My school is also a high poverty, Title 1, urban school which greatly impacts their learning.
Despite these obstacles, they are always happy to see one another and eager to learn!
They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions. They come to school each day ready to learn and take chances in order to grow both personally and academically despite the ongoing challenges we all have faced this year.
They're truly my inspiration and having a new device will allow me to be able to provide them with the most up to date, engaging technology for our grade level curriculum.
My Project
A new device will allow me to incorporate up to date, engaging, content-based lessons to support my students without screens freezing and videos lagging. I will also be able to participate in webinars, especially those geared to remote/distance learning.
Distance learning requires a reliable device.
A new computer will enable me to give my students engaging and endless learning opportunities.
