My Project

Teaching Pre-k is such a joy and it’s also a lot of hard work. Teaching students how to deal with stress and social problems is part of our curriculum. Planning engaging and fun activities for them to learn the skills they need to be successful in kindergarten can be rewarding and sometimes challenging. Providing materials to help make teaching the skills they need is important to their success.

My Pre-k classroom may be the first opportunity most of my students have ever experienced a school setting and I want to make sure it is an enjoyable and positive learning experience.

Most of my students come to school each and every day excited to play and learn new things but sometimes there are some that come to school and are not ready to face the challenges of the day. School can be a place to help navigate the feelings they have and how to deal with them appropriately.
