Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year, I have 60 students, 29 of which, are still learning to be proficient in English. I have another 5 with learning disabilities. My students range from learning their alphabet to reading above grade level.
There is nothing more frustrating for a student, than to feel like their time is being wasted.
This printer will allow me to monitor and adjust for students' needs mid-lesson to meet them where they are. Having a printer in the classroom, will also allow me to provide individualized practice for all students as soon as I identify the specific skill they are struggling with. Without the printer, students have to wait until the following day to get the practice or scaffolds I see they need in the moment.
These students have no time to waste. Their time is precious and we want to make the most of the time we have together. Our goal is to meet all students where they are and help them grow to their fullest potential. Help us meet our goal by providing an in-classroom printer for instant individualized practice and scaffolds.
