This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students have special needs like Autism, Specific Learning Disabilities and Speech and Language Impairments, among other disabilities. These students live in a tough area of South Los Angeles, where many are considered to come from very, low-income households.
My students enjoy coming to school and learning as much as they possibly can.
They put forth effort in all of their school lessons and activities. They will benefit from any materials and supplies that we can get donated through DonorsChoose.
My Project
My students and I need black printer toner to use along with our classroom printer. There are times when the school printer breaks down and we have to wait two to three days to get our copies for homework and classwork back. Therefor we have a small printer, copier in the classroom and we need toner to go along with it. we will use the ink to print homework and classwork when the school printer breaks down so that work is not slowed down and learning continues to thrive in our class.
