My Students

I have a group of 27 students who are very excited to learn! I teach in a Title I school, which means a high percentage of my students are living in low-income homes. Our school is needing to be repaired, and this summer we will be moving out of our classroom and into a portable. This portable will be in the yard of a school nearby, which means we will be far from the printers and copiers.

Our students need to have access to a printer throughout the day, which is why I'm reaching out for financial assistance.

My Project

In fifth grade, we do a lot of writing, as we are gearing up to move to middle school. They are writing 5 paragraph essays and reports on their tablets, and currently, we only have a way to turn them in electronically. This makes it difficult to learn editing skills, that will benefit them for their future.

Being able to print out their work, will allow them to focus on editing their writing, and take their skills to the next level.

This will also allow us to display all of their hard work in the classroom, for others to see. We would appreciate it so much if you could help finance a printer and ink for our classroom!
