This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are trying to create a playground that is age appropriate and safe for our kids in the daycare. By creating a place just for them it will allow for more outdoor time, and more independent play while using their imagination.

A sandbox will be used for fine motor skills as they are playing in the sand with their hands, as well as creativity as they have to use their imagination to build all of the things imaginable.

As well as any other playground equipment will be used for physical activity and helping the kids build their social and sharing skills.
