Help me give my students lab and composition notebooks, pencils, erasers, and rulers as well as an LED message board and ladder plant stand to hold their experiments as they grow fruits and vegetables during our botany unit.
My students are curious and enjoy project-based lessons that take learning beyond the classroom. They are NYC junior ambassadors who are working towards understanding the UN SDG goals and focusing on quality education.
As participants in the Student Spaceflight Experiments Program this year, our students will be writing proposals and sending their plant experiments to the International Space Station (ISS).
They will also be conducting experiments on Earth, analyzing data, and taking measurements using various plant stands, notebooks, and other tools during our Botany unit.
