This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My fifth-grade students are eager to grow as writers, and having their own writing journals would make a tremendous difference in our classroom. These journals will provide students with a dedicated space to brainstorm ideas, practice new writing skills, respond to literature, reflect on their learning, and develop their unique voices as authors.

Writing is a vital skill that helps students communicate clearly, think critically, and express themselves creatively.

With quality writing journals, students will be able to write daily, track their progress throughout the year, and build confidence in their abilities.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
