This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students in my Crafts and Ceramics 1-2 classes create four to five clay projects throughout the ceramics unit. In my classroom, there are no storage shelves or cubbies to put clay projects in. Students keep their incomplete work in labeled plastic bags, and each block lines their work up on the floor against a designated wall.
Having storage cubbies would allow students to have a space to store their in-progress work.
This would allow for misconceptions of students taking someone else's project/bag or even stepping on someone else's work.
