A Place to Sit Anywhere We See Fit!

Help me give my students ways to move around the classroom! The flexible seating will allow them to work in different areas of the room, and give them a comfortable, yet functional place to sit.

My Students

I have 29 first and second graders students in a middle-class school. We are a suburban school with an active community of parents and teachers. We are culturally diverse, with about 25% of our kids speaking English as a second language. We are economically diverse, as well, which can create its own challenges.

My students love learning and are ready to take on the world!

Each one brings a wonderful asset to not only our classroom but our school community as well. They try hard every day to be the best version of themselves. My students are grateful for DonorsChoose.org, as it has brought new aspects to learning. Our parents are helpful, supportive, and involved in all areas of education.

My Project

We are asking for cushions and work stations that can be moved around the classroom. Having a combo class means different groups of students are working on different things at different times. Being able to work on a hard surface while not at a table or desk, will be very handy!

Since we have received so many books, we are now looking for a sturdy way to organize them!

The book bins we have requested will help us organize the class library and make it more accessible in other places around the room.
