My Students
I have a wonderful group of 18 kindergarten students in my class. I have many students for whom English is a second language and other students who are on Individual Education Plans.
The children in my classroom work so hard to learn English.
Many of them only have the opportunity to practice their English in the classroom. Yet, every day they come in with smiles on their faces and ready to work. They make so much progress throughout the year. I could not be more proud of them.
My Project
This easel will be used daily in my Kindergarten classroom. We will use it every morning to read our morning message. This easel will allow the children the opportunity to participate in the morning message.
When the children are gathered the easel can help me share the big books that we are reading.
The children love to hear stories and this is a wonderful way for them to see the illustrations.
We will use this easel to learn about reading. We can learn about the alphabet and sight words.
We will use this easel to learn about math. As a teacher I will be able to display a ten frame so my students understand number sense.
