I am the proud teacher of 24 wonderful Kindergarten students. We have gotten off to a wonderful start this new school year. We have been working hard and its paying off. My kindergarten students are now ready to begin reading. Unfortunately, our school is on a strict school budget and I find myself scrambling to find materials that will benefit my students. I am asking for your help in creating a large and small group reading center where my students and I can gather and perform daily routines. I am requesting a reading center with a write and wipeboard that can be used by me and the students during both large and small group activities. I especially love that this center will hold a variety of activities that will keep our center neat and organized. The students will be able to select an activity of choice and perform it all in the same area. This center will also be used for large group instruction as it can hold our big books for story time and pocket charts for assisting in learning new sounds and words. The center is on wheels which makes it easier to move from one area to another. We are limited on space so this center would work wonderfully in our compact classroom. I am kindly asking for your help in making this center possible in our kindergarten classroom. We greatly appreciate your time and any donation you are able to make.
