My Students

My students are young and brand new to school! They are so excited about learning and it is my job to provide them with a wide variety of activities that will engage them in many different ways.

Not only am I teaching academic skills, I am also teaching my young students how to socialize correctly with their peers.

It is so important to use any and every opportunity to teach them how to interact with others. I love to give my students the chance to build and explore activities, friends, and toys. The discoveries and conversations that occur during these opportunities are extremely beneficial to every child.

My Project

A kindergarten day is all about watching, learning, and then practicing. Having a nice place to sit will allow my students to be excited to meet me on the carpet.

Currently there isn't a specific rug for my class to sit.

They sit on the floor where their are dots to designate an area. Having this carpet will give them a calming, colorful place to sit and learn that may be more comfortable and defined than what we have currently.

This rug will be so complimentary to our current classroom colors and will bring so much excitement and happiness to our classroom.
