A Place for Everything, and Everything in its Place!
My students need a store and charge tablet station to organize the classroom technology and a class set of eight Whoo's Listening Headphones to have access to their device Whoo's NOT disturbing their peers.
I am a Preschool Autism Teacher at an elementary school in our District. I have been teaching for 17 years, 14 of those years have been at this school. I work with 3 and 4 year olds with autism. My students spend the entire school day in my classroom. We work on social skills, communication skills, academic skills, fine motor and gross motor skills, self-help skills and so much more in our everyday routines. My students usually enter my class shortly after being diagnosed with autism and leave after their preschool years.
My students come with a variety of abilities and my goal is to create learners that are as independent as possible and learn the skills to be successful in their school environment.
My students need headphones and a charging station to help organize their technology! As of right now our five tablets are on a table with no type of organization. It would be a blessing for each tablet to have a "home" where students are able to check out and return them to a secure charging station. This will be an easy way for each student to be more accountable for "their" tablet.
My students need a store and charge tablet station to organize the classroom technology and a class set of eight Whoo's Listening Headphones to have access to their device Whoo's NOT disturbing their peers. My students will learn to be more independent in the classroom and more organized learners with a "home" for their tablets. The store and charge tablet station will allow the tablets to have a safe resting place and will keep all accessories organized for future use. Each student will learn to be responsible for their tablet and headphones. The storage station will allow them to keep their tablets organized and charged for the learning activities during the day. The charging station and headphones will allow for easy access to the tablets to use during the school day. This project will allow my students to develop their life skills of responsibility and organization.
