My Students
"Where do I find...?" "Where do I put the...?" These are questions my students always ask. I would like to provide the children with storage materials for their many supplies!
I teach second grade in diverse city neighborhood.
My students are lively, curious, and wonderful. They work hard, have fun, and ask lots of questions. I am so lucky to teach this group of kids! Many of my kids are dual language speakers, and some are new arrivals learning English.
My Project
Many of my students are visual learners. It is important for their independence that they be able to know where to find and store their supplies. Also, the children who are not yet fluent in English feel empowered when they can navigate the classroom and it's supplies on their own. An organized, visual storage system will help build my students' confidence and organizational skills.
I want to provide my children with a beautiful, well organized classroom that fosters their independence and learning.
This will also allow my English language and visual learners to build their confidence navigating the classroom.
