My Students

My students are curious, imaginative, and love learning about the world around them. They are discovering to how to be leaders and create their own place in the world. They represent many different countries, backgrounds, and experiences.

I am trying to help them build important life long skills and discover new concepts and ideas during the short time they are in my classroom.

They are loving kids who need supplies in order to help them maximize their learning. My students and I appreciate all of the support we have received!

My Project

I am moving to a primary grade next year and know I will have my students sitting on the floor multiple times a day. We will conduct classroom meetings, have academic discussions, and build our community while sitting in a circle together. I want to have a beautiful rug for us to sit on so that each student can be given a space of their own.

Having this colorful ABC Primary Phonics Seating Carpet in our room will help us build routines so that students can focus on learning and not where they will be sitting.

With the rug I have chosen, there are many ways to seat students depending on the type of work we need to be done.
