A Place for Every: A Comfy Rug

Help me give my students a nice comfy spot for learning because my room is hard tile floor that can be very cold and a vacuum.

My Students

My kindergarten students are a fantastic group of kiddos. They are a smart, creative, brave and curious group of kids. They come from all different backgrounds, yet are a tight-knit group of friends and eager learners. There is a large percentage of students on free and reduced-price lunches. We have a wide range of students who receive different services such as special education, Title 1, ELL, speech, and OT/ PT. My students are always happy and excited to come to class each day!

My Project

We will use our big rug as a comfy and cozy place to gather for lessons. Each child will have there own personal square so that they can have the space they need for their best learning! Having a designated spot for each child will encourage independence and personal boundaries while learning.

By donating to this project you will help create an inviting and cozy area for students to learn and grow.

The vacuum will help teach students responsibility by taking care of the rug each day. It will also help keep our rug looking great for a longer time so that future students will enjoy it as well.
