My Project

I have found that our speech kiddos learn best when they're working towards something. It could be a prize, playing with a toy, or playing their favorite game. Providing fun choices for the kids can keep them engaged and motivated to try their best. The Webber cards and books allow for a more direct and guided speech therapy session and make it easier to plan for the kiddos and their needs.

Our goal is to increase learning for the kids by maximizing the resources provided and allowing the children to work towards a fun incentive by making donors aware of what they can do to help our speech kiddos.

It takes a lot of work to put together and locate resources to cater to each child, but with the Webber cards and the books, our time is cut in half and allows for a more effective and fulfilling therapy session.

Our students are special because they have a desire to "graduate" from speech. They work hard and play hard. We have created an environment where the speech kiddos aren't afraid to make mistakes, but also understand that their mistakes don't define them. Through lots of practice and positive reinforcement, they can reach success!
