This specific item I am requesting will make a difference in my student learning because some pictures that will be taken will be of students artwork and everyday fun activities. There will be other pictures take and these pictures can make it simpler for the students to understand abstract concepts. Some of the pictures taken will be use for classroom engagement. Pictures can make abstract ideas look more concrete. Pictures are also excellent visual aids when you can't relate to the object or person. Like virtually any other teaching resource, pictures can be used to enhance student learning and to develop students self-esteem, or their utilization can be of little or no value and, if used carelessly, can, in fact, undermine students' self-confidence.
My class goals for this project is to make sure moments in the classroom and outside the classroom are capture for students in the elementary years that they can cherish in the years to come.
Not always teachers and students get the opportunity to have those picture perfect moments because we don't have the camera or software in our classrooms to take pictures besides using our personal cellular phones.
What makes students special is their ability to try the unexpected and their willingness to learn what every challenges I place before them.
