This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Capturing special moments on camera is priceless for students, teachers, and parents.

My students are bright and energetic first graders who attend a magnet school in California.

Since our school does not have a kindergarten, my class is their first year at a new school. I like to make sure I make this first year special and I like to capture those special moments for their families to see.

My Project

In this project I am requesting 1 digital camera for classroom use, along with 1 memory card and 1 pack of batteries to use this camera. I love to take many pictures of students participating in various activities. I post these pictures on our class website as well as print the pictures out for students to use during writing. However, this year, the flash on my camera stopped working and the pictures are no longer as clear as they used to be. With your help, I will be able to capture great learning moments to share with families and our community.

My students love to visit our website regularly to share what they have been doing in class with their families.

I'd really like to continue to provide vivid pictures from our classrooms and I really appreciate your help and consideration in helping me with this project.
