Help me give my students digital cameras, SD cards, card readers and memories!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Backner's classroom raised $310

My Project
I work in a Title 1 school with children from grades Pre K-8. My middle school graphic design classes create 4 school magazines that include work from all students in the school, 4 school newspapers and an 8th grade yearbook every year. In order to do this, the students need photographs. Access to 2 quality digital cameras will provide them the ability to learn about photography, document school and community events, and provide lasting memories.
My classes offer students experiences in graphic and visual art that they do not usually get outside of school.
They are exposed to a medium they might not otherwise learn about. Some students go on to pursue this path in high school and college. These cameras can be tools to create school wide projects and promote a life long love of photography.
More than half of students from low‑income households
